FOOLISH MISTAKES COST A LIFE

Was Chris McCandles a hero or fool? In my opinion Chris McCandles was fool. He was a fool because he had a great life planned ahead for him; however, Chris decided to throw all the money away. He made a bad decision because that money was for him to attend Harvard. He was had graduated from Emory University. He came from a very wealthy family. Was an all-American in track or cross country. Chris McCandles was a fool, as if he were to attend Harvard, he would be making millions. Chris McCandles was a hero because he told people to go after their dreams. He also was someone who lived life with no regrets.

            A reason why McCandless was foolish is that he was not properly equipped to survive in Alaska, and the bus he was staying in was not that great. The weather was very cold, and he did not have many clothes that were warm. Additionally, Chris only had a 22-caliber gun, and that was not enough to kill a bear. All that he could do was to make them angry and have them attack more. Chris was living in one of the toughest climates to survive in, and he was living in a bus that did not have heat. Also, he was basically on a suicidal mission.

            I think that Chris McCandless was a fool because he died due to wanting to explore the Alaskan trail and to throwing all his money away. He got rid of his car.  McCandless said, “I now walk into the wild.”  He had a loving family that cared about him. He also had a sister who really understood what he was going through.  He turned down an offer from his parents for them to buy him a new car; many teenagers would be all over this offer.  If Chris stayed with Ron Franz after going to the Slabs and being down in Mexico, he still could have had a roof over his head and someone who was out for his best interest and whom he enjoyed being around.

Chris McCandless was a hero because he telling people to go after their dreams, to enjoy life, and to live life with no regrets. He also was a hero because he told people to love their families. He also was a person who believed in self-simplicity. This meant that you should be happy with what you have instead of the things that you do not have. One should only get the things that one needs.  Chris lived a lifestyle of self-simplicity. By his living on the trail, he showed us that not much is needed to survive.  When his parents offered to buy him a new car, he declined the offer. He believed that his parents should not buy him a new car simply because he graduated from college.

He was a fool because he was not properly equipped to survive in the wild. He did not listen to the advice of his friends and the people whom he met along the way.  If he listened to the advice that was given to him, he may still be alive. He made many very poor choices, and he had several opportunities to make something of his life.  Chris had many things going for him, and he was a very likeable person. He was going to attend Harvard and had a college degree. Chris was an All-American in track at Emory University

In conclusion I think that Chris McCandles is a fool because he threw away a great life. He had a loving family, money, and a great education.  He was also going to attend Harvard; however, he threw all of that away to
 struggle to stay alive in the Alaskan trail.

Today what we did in class was we reviewed our test on Korea and then we spoke a little about exams and twitter then we spoke about the movie we watched in class. How propaganda plays  a huge role on the way people think and act. Also we spoke about it the great leader were to be assainated what the Korean people would think if they would be happy or sad.

Today in class Mr.Schick had to go somewhere and we had A sub while we had a sub we reviewed for a test that had later on in class. In class we had once Mr.Schick came back we then took our test on Korea some of the question were a little challenging. But overall I think I may have passed

Today in class we watched some more of the movie about Korea and what found interesting was that the koreans dug several holes underground so that could get into South Korea.And how much that they love there leader but they do not understand that he is cutting them off from the outside world. Also when South Korea would make an attempt to speak to North Korea that would pay them no attenton

Today in class we continued to watch the movie in class and also we saw how these people over in China only make about $4dollars a day. And compare it americans we make about $20 dollars working on a assembley line.And we saw how americans tear aa building down by blowing it up. And the chinese break a building down peace by peace. looking for valuabe peaces of rocks in it. We also saw how 80% of walmart products are made in China. Also the woman lost her job because the company was moving to china and she is having trouble finding one and the most of the bussines is moving to China because the labor and work there is very cheap

today in class we watched a movie called  Big Box mart and this guy used to be the customer at this store and now he is the employee there because the chinese taking over the workforce and the united states could do anything about it. Th second movie we watched was about life in china and how the families were only limited to having one child because they a large pouplation and many of the families are in poverty and they value children alot there. Many people work on assembley lines and it is very difficult for them to.

My group learned that many countries do not have a high percentage of agriculture.What I saw was that the many  not as developed countries like as Russia or Saudi Arabia or United States rely on agriculture alot more than the other countries.

Today in class we went over our test on population pyrmaids and I did okay not as well as I wanted to I received a 74% on the test. We also talked about how Mr.Schicks weekend was he spoke about how his dinner was and how his drivinng was being critcized on the way there. We also switched seats today and we also learned that we will not be using our computers that much anymore in class. Becasue many of us got off task in class.
